Killed by his friend Dr M H Goodwin accidentally shot by a friend Dr Millard H. Goodwin, brother of Dr L.L. Goodwin and A. G. Goodwin, of Topeka, who was accidentally killed Sunday afternoon at Crosby, Texas, near Dallas, was a practicing dentist in Houston, and owned a rice plantation at Crosby. Sunday after noon Dr Goodwin and a friend named Prince Dunks were at the plantation chasing a suspicious person that had been stalking the place. Dunks stumbled and fell and the revolver which he carried was discharged stricking Dr Goodwin in the back of the head. Dr Goodwin lived but a short time after the accident.The sheriff and a justice of the peace made an investigation of the case, and found the shooting accidental. Dr Goodwin , formerly of Topeka ,Kansas and with his brother ,L.L. Goodwin, practiced dentistry. Dr L.L Goodwin has gone to Houston , and the remains will be brought to Topeka for interment. The funeral will be held from the residence of Dr L.L. Goodwin , 820 Monroe Street, but the exact time will be announced later, as relatives are coming from California to attend.

Goodwin, who was killed at Crosby, Texas , last Sunday by the accidental discharge of a revolver. The funeral will be held from the residence of Dr L.L. Goodwin, 820 Monroe street, at 3:00 Sunday afternoon . Interment in Topeka cemetery.
