Biography
Marie Angelique was born 4 Aug 1782. She was the daughter of Pierre Gosselin and Marie Louise Audet dite Lapointe. She was baptized the same day in St-Denis-sur-Richelieu. [1]
On 10 Aug 1802, in St-Charles-de-Bellechasse, André Lacroix adult son of Jean Lacroix and Marie Anne Mercier married Marie Angélique Gosselin minor daughter of Pierre Gosselin and Louise Audet. Several named relatives, no signatures. [2]
- Dispensation was obtained for a 4th degree of consanguinity. They were third cousins but they were also double 5th cousins. Their common ancestors were:
- Anthoine Forestier (1644-abt.1707) and his wife Marie Magdeleine Cadieu (1659-1715)
- Abraham Martin (abt.1589-1664) and his wife Marguerite Langlois (-1665)
- Jacques (Lehoux) Le houx (abt.1580-1680) and his first wife Marie Meilleur (1585-1682)
Angélique Gosselin, 83 year old widow of André Lacroix, died 22 Nov 1865. She was buried two days later in St-Roch-de-Québec. [3]
