Biographie
Pierre Gosselin est né le 13 août 1728, baptisé le 15 août, fils de Joseph Gosselin et Françoise Godbout.[1]
Le 29 janvier 1752 un contrat de mariage est passé pardevant maître Fortier, notaire, entre Pierre Gosselin et Marie-Anne Fortier, veuve de feu Jean-Charles Pepin. Une cérémonie nuptiale a eu lieu le 1er février en la paroisse St-Jean (Île d'Oréans) [2][3][4]
4 enfants naissent de l'union Gosselin/Fortier[5] Les 3 premiers enfants sont baptisés à St-Jean I.O. , et le dernier, Marie, est baptisé à Saint-Laurent I.O.
