Biography

Sally was born in 1822 or 1823 in Leeds, Maine. [1][2]She is the daughter of William Gould and Olive Gould.

She married Arlo C Bean (1823-1882) in Dexter, Maine on 11 Mar 1843. [3]She died in Everett, Mass, the widow of Arlo; both are buried at the Milford Village Cemetery, Milford, Maine.

Sarah and Arlo were the parents of five known children, raised in Bradley, Maine where Arlo worked as a sawyer and farmer.

Her gravestone states her death was 9 Dec 1894, at age 71 years and nine months, which would agree with existing birth records from Leeds, Maine showing her birth date as 24 Feb 1823.
