Older sister Gracie is missing from the family list in the 1910 census.
In the 1900 US Census Sammie does not appear. Mabel is listed showing an age of 1, Eugene as 4, Charlie as 7, and an older sister Gracie as 10. Jane is 29 and John is 33. Census location is Fairfax, Osage, Kansas[2] Since the date of the census is June first 1900 Sammie is born after that in late 1900 or early 1901 .
Family does not seem to appear in 1920 census. Querying for John or Jane born in Iowa does not bring back this family. There were however other John and Jane Green families during this time period in different locations. Sam also seems to disappear from any later census.
There seem to be evidence that Gracie married a Cardiff and moved to Colorado. Eugene seems to also be in Colorado when he registers for WWII draft.
