Biography
Norma Hester Green, daughter of Cleveland Green and Dora Wilcox, was born about 1920.[1] She passed away in 2000 at Truro, Colchester Co., Nova Scotia.
Obituary
HINGLEY (McLearn), Norma Hester - 79, Truro, passed away June 22, 2000, in the Myra. Born in Pembroke, Hants Co., she was a daughter of the late Cleveland and Dora (Wilcox) Green. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Truro, and Area Chapter of Huntington's Society where she worked with the society for 30 years. Surviving are [sons and daughters removed for privacy], brothers, Stanton, Freeland, Hantsport; sister, Wilma, Truro; several stepchildren; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, William Lawrence McLearn; second husband, Henry Edward Hingley; sons, Perry, Allan, Brock. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m today, memorial service 2 p.m. Friday, both in Selma United Church, Selma, Rev. Wayne Yorke and Rev. Gordon Sutherland officiating. Burial in Selma United Church Cemetery. Donations to Selma United Church Cemetery, Huntington's Society or the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Nova Scotia Branch. Arrangements entrusted to Mattatall Funeral Home, Truro.
