Sarah Ann Greentree was born in 1882 to David Greentree and Elizabeth Frances (Horan) Greentree.

Miss Sarah Greentree has returned to Mr.R. Ryan's, of the Lowlands, much improved in health after her severe illness in the Windsor Hospital, where she was suffering with low fever.

OBITUARY

With regret we have to chronicle the sad death of Miss Sarah Ann Greentree (daughter of Mr. David Greentree, of Cattai), who passed away at the residence of Mr R Ryan, of Pitt Town, on Monday morning, at the age of 22 years. It seems that the deceased had not been enjoying good health for some time, and on Sunday last complained of a severe headache. Dr Gibson was summoned, and it was arranged to bring her to Windsor Hospital next morning, During the night she was seized with fits, and died in one of them at an early hour on Monday. The late Miss Greentree had a serious illness some time ago. Her system became thoroughly run down, and she never seemed to regain strength. She was a fine young woman, and was greatly esteemed by Mr Ryan and his family, for whom she acted as housekeeper. She also bore the respect of all for her splendid disposition and love able nature, Deep sympathy is expressed for Mr Greentree and his family in this sad bereavement, coming as it does less than twelve months after the death of a fine son, The remains were interred in St Matthew's R.C, cemetery, Windsor, on Tuesday, Mr. Chandler being the undertaker. The funeral was an exceptionally large, one — a tribute of sympathy to the bereaved family, and of respect and esteem to the memory of the deceased, Rev Father McDonnell officiated at the grave.'
