During my Data Doctor rounds, I noticed this profile is on my check-up list for Data Doctor-Error 209: Father is also a sibling. You can read more about this here on the help page for this suggestion: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:DBE_209.

The profile needs to be evaluated and make the necessary changes. I appreciate your help and please let me know if I can help you in any way!

Also Have you checked your suggestion list? I work mine every week, it is so helpful. I learn a lot watching the videos and correcting errors.

Thanks,

Debbie

First, Ruth--thank you for creating this profile! And thank you Debbie and Patricia for your helpful comments.
  • This profile looks to have come primarily from FamilySearch KP3T-933, a profile with a lot of interesting facts but few sources (only 1800, 1820, 1830 census are linked). It would be helpful to have sources for the tax lists, deeds and so forth that are cited as facts.
  • A 1978 bound typescript by Virginia Greene DePriest, "The Sandy Run Settlement and Mooresboro," digitized from a UNC-Chapel Hill copy, is at [1]. It contains information about Absalom Gregory and his family members. He appears on the church membership rolls (1782, 1804) and in a "deed list" compiled by DePriest.
  • Wikitree has another profile for Gregory-2581 that is the same person. It was created from a GEDCOM import from an Ancestry.com tree (link is dead).
