Jacob Griffith was born February 27, 1757 in Warrington Township, York county. [1] He was the son of William Griffith and Esther Davis

He married Lydia Hussey. Lydia was born Mar 37 1757 in York County, Pennsylvania and died Sep 21 1843 in Washington County, Pennsylvania. Lydia's parent were Record Hussey and Miriam Harry. [1]


Son Amos married Edith Price. Their daughter Elizabeth married Joshua Millhouse. This family are ancestors of President Richard Millhous Nixon [2][1]

Jacob passed away April 2, 1841 in Clover Hill, Washington County, Pennsylvania [1]. Other source has death date as Feb 1841 [citation needed]

Griffith-8936 and Griffith-926 appear to represent the same person because: same person, same / similar dates, same parents
Although a Quaker Record lists his death as "February 27, 1811", most sources I've seen indicate a date of 1841.
