Biography
George was born in 1795. He passed away in 1878.
Pg. 16.... He is the oldest son of John Gresham and Nancy Hale Gresham. When a young man he was united in marriage with Mary Hoss. He served with his father in the War of 1812. In early manhood he entered the ministry, in the Christian Church, preaching throughout eastern Tennessee and Arkansas. He and his wife were buried in the Gresham Cemetery at Buffalo Ridge, Tennessee.
