Peter was born in 1819. He is the son of Adam Gum and Susanna Lantz.
He Married Barbara Elizabeth Nicholas in May 1838 Children: 1.Sarah V. Gum she married Martin M Jack 2.Edmonia Gum 3. Isaac N Gum B; 1853 D: Nov 30, 1898 married Ola V Colaw 4. Cynthia A Gum 5. Amanda Gum : married Addison Simmons B: April 15, 1854
