Ralph (Radulphus) Haburne, son of John Haburne and Anna Haburne was baptized on 1 January 1569/70 at St. Mary the Virgin Church in Cottingham, Yorkshire, England.[1][2][3] The baptismal record from the Parish Register of Cottingham, Yorkshire, transcribed by Tracy Eliot Hazen reads: "1569 Radulphus Habron fil Johis eodem die (p'mo die Januarij, 1569-70." The Latin word "eodem" indicates that Ralph was born and baptized on the same day.
On 2 December 1593, Ralph married Maud (aka Matilda, Magdalena) Jecles at St. Mary the Virgin Church in Cottingham, Yorkshire, England. The record as it appears on the parish register of Cottingham and transcribed by Tracy Eliot Hazen:[1]
The couple had five children. Maud was buried at St. Mary the Virgin Churchyard in Cottingham on 5 May 1623.[1]
Ralph married second Frances Metcalf on 4 July 1625 in Cottingham.[1] Ralph and Frances had three children.
On 17 April 1638, Ralph was buried at St. Mary the Virgin Churchyard in Cottingham.[1] His death record as given on the parish register and transcribed by Tracy Eliot Hazen:

In the name of God Amen the 5th day of Aprill 1638 I Ralph Haburne of Cottingham sicke and weake of body but praised be God sound and p’fect of minde and memory doe make this my last will and testament in manner and forme as followeth. Ffirst I give and bequeath my soule unto Almighty god my Creatour and to Jesus Christ my Savior and redeemer and my body to be buried in the p’rish churchyard of Cottingham. Item I give and bequeath to ffrancis Haburne my wife two kine with one presse cubbord. Item I give to George Haburne my sonne one great kettle. Item I give to Elizabeth Haburne my daughter one little panne. Item I give to Ann Goulsbrough to Jane Grant and to Isabell Gouldwell every one of them twelve pence. Item I give to every one of my said daughters children the some of three pence a piece. The rest of my goods, my debts paid, and my funeral expenses discharged I give to ffrancis Haburne my wife to George Haburne my sonne and to Elizabeth Haburne my daughter whom I make Joynt executors of this my last will and testament.
