Will of Simon Hadley, Jr written in 1755, was recorded in 1756; I do leave my granddaughter Catherine Hadley daughter of Joshua, the sum of 60 pounds current money. There were 68 bequest in all. It is thought that Joshua probably received his land prior to the death of his father.
