Edward L, Hain, 96, passed away Dec. 26, 2017. Survived by his large blended family - David (Marta) Pugliese, Terri Collins, Bob (Cindy) Pugliese, Mary Kaisen, Dorothy (Bill) Mueller, Nancy (Mark) Kirkwood, Denise (Kevin) Cucci, Donna (Rusty) Walker, and Cheryl Pugliese. Ed was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy in 1965, his wife Lois in 2014, daughter Marcia Pugliese, son Joseph Hain, and grandson Jason Hain. His survivors also include brother-in-law Jack Bastress, sister-in-law Angela Hain, numerous loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends. Ed proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ticonderoga. His family was paramount in his life and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Glenview, IL on Saturday, Jan. 6 at 11 a.m. Visitation with the family before service at 10 a.m. Interment private. Edward married Lois Brunssen-Pugliese ~1967. Her husband died in 1963. They were the parents of four sons and two daughters.
