"Mary, b. about 1740; m. Crooked Run MH, under the care of Hopewell MM, Va., 10 mo. 15, 1760, JOSEPH MOORE. They were disowned Hopewell MM 4 mo. 3, 1775, for disunity. The names of their children have not been definitely ascertained, but one of them was probably the James Moore of Crooked Run who was received into membership on 9 mo. 6, 1779, and who was disowned on 8 mo. 5, 1782. [Ref: Hinshaw -- American Quaker Genealogy, Vol. VI, p. 424. Hopewell MM, Va. Minutes, p. 29. Hopewell Friends' History, p. 241.]

NOTE: The Quaker calendar year began in March. Therefore 10 mo. 15 is December 15th, for example.
