Biography

Carlile was a Friend (Quaker)

Carlile married Sarah Mallock on 11 December 1721 in Camden, New Jersey.[1]

Carlile's will was recorded in September 1770. His estate was inventoried on 13 June 1774 in New Jersey.[2]

Carlise died on 13 June 1774 and was buried in the Haines Family Farm Cemetery, Medford, Burlington County, New Jersey, United States.[3]

According to John W. Haines, (Haines, John Wesley, RICHARD HAINES AND HIS DESCENDENTS: A Burlington County, New Jersey family since 1682.(pp.37-8))

and George Haines, (Haines, George, M.D. & Richard, ANCESTRY of the Haines, Sharp, Collins, Wills, Gardiner, Prickett, Eves, Evans, Moore, Troth, Borton and Engle Families., Sinnickson Chew & Sons, Printers, Medford, NJ, 1902. pp. 28, 29} , This Carlile did not have a son, Joshua, or a son, Abraham; and he had only one of each daughter, Rebecca, and Rachel.
