Jonathan Haley was born in 1921. He was the son of Thomas Haley and Ella Watson.
Jonathan married Mary Erwin in West Ham in 1943. [1]
He passed away in 2000. [2]
Jonathan Patrick HALEY: Before the war, he was a very enthusiastic member of the Model Aeroplane Club that met regularly in Chinaman's Gully, Lithgow, NSW.
Jonathan (Jack) HALEY was a pilot with the RAAF during World War 2 - he flew Spitfires and Huricanes in Borneo for the RAAF as an Australian. Read in a book that he was a Seargent that took a Hurricane for a test flight - ran out of fuel and crashed - survived and he walked back to the base.
