Biography

Noah was born in 1832 to Thomas Halford and Sarah Hill. [1]

He married Martha Hunter on 4 August 1854 in Rutherford County, North Carolina. [2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9] Together they had the following children:

  1. Robert Vance Halford [6][7][8][9][10]
  2. Sarah Halford [7]

He served in the Sixty-second Infantry in the Confederate Army during the American Civil War. [11][12][13]

He passed away in 1909 and was buried in Bill's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Rutherford County, North Carolina
