Biography
Walter Butler Hamblen was born about 13 Apr 1810 in Mount Desert, Hancock, Maine, United States, son of Daniel Hamblen (~1773 - ~1840) and Hannah (Richardson) Hamblen (~1773 - ).
Walter married Margaret Gott , daughter of Benjamin Gott and Lydia Morgan, on 12 Jul 1830.
Walter married Elizabeth S. Thurston , daughter of Amos Thurston and Mary Gott, on 28 Dec 1832 in Deer Isle, Hancock. Their son was Ambrose Thurston Hamblen (1833 - 1897).
Walter's daughter was Margaret Ann (Hamblen) Mills (1836 - 1919).
Walter died on 10 Nov 1836 aged 26.
