Biography
George Hamilton and his sister, Elizabeth Mary Hamilton came to Canada from Ireland and settled in Magaguadavic Settlement before moving to Penniac. George met and married Rebecca Moore (Rebecca was born in Saint John, NB in 1834 to William R. Moore (Born Londonderry, Ireland in 1797) and Mary (?) who married in 1826. William and Mary sailed on the sailing ship, Leslie Gault, from Londonderry in August 1831 to Saint John, NB, landing in November 1831.
