According to the dates here, Elizabeth Baker died years before Richard was born. Familysearch has a different Richard born in 1700 listed as a son of Richard and Elizabeth as well as this Richard born in the 1720s, and it seems likely to me that this Richard and the FS Richard both born in the 1720s are the same person and are probably the son of the FS Richard born in 1700 married to someone named Frances (on FS this Richard is listed as the son of the 1674 Richard and wife Elizabeth Baker). The 1700 FS Richard and his wife Frances are most likely the parents of the John Hammack who is brother to this Richard ... but whether there actually is a Richard born in 1700 who should be uncle or father to this Richard, and who had a wife named Frances, or whether Frances was the second wife, after Elizabeth (the listed mother of this Richard) ... there are just too many Richards here to make sensible notes about. Arg.
