Biography
Lycurgus was a son of Henry Gooch Hammond and Rebecca Ingram. He married Octavia Missouri Powell in 1869.[1] They had nine known children. Lycurgus died of unknown causes in 1919 and was buried in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Montgomery County, Mississippi.
