Biography

Inherited all his father's titles. Became Sire du Ponte Audemer which became his principal residence and by which name he was commonly known.

By his marriage he enhanced his position among the Norman nobility, and he was a prominent figure during the reigns of Dukes Richard II, Richard III, and Robert 'the Devil' (996-1035).

Medlands appears to show that Wewa was the one to marry Turulfo de Ponte-Audomari. https://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/normacre.htm#_Toc108863565. I did not see any mention of Hugh de Beauchamp as a child of any of the sisters of Gunnora. Are there any other sources? Thank you, Julia Heath
