DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Bailey by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Bailey:
Hardin-1846 and Hardin-2751 do not represent the same person because: Nothing is the same about these two profiles. Different dob, dod, name, or name of wife. They may be brothers. I think some of the sources are mixed-up between the two and the profiles are in danger of being conflated.
If you look at the birth date, date of death and censuses, it is clear that Hardin-1846 and Hardin 2751 are not the same person. Different names, different wife's names and different children's names. I think there may be some confusion of sources on the profiles which need to be straightened out.
