Biography

Anthony Hardman, a Dunkard preacher.
The ancestors of Anthony Hardman came from Germany. His children were :

Agnes Hardman (Jan. 15, 1774 — Dec. 25, 1824),
Abraham, m. Margaret Leatherman. and their children were Hannah, Elizabeth, Mary, Catherine,
Daniel;
Solomon, whose children were :Benjamin, Joshua, Catherine, Elizabeth, and others;
David;
Jonathan, m. Mary Specht, their children, Jacob Elizabeth, Joseph, John, Thomas, William, Sarah, Squire; Jonathan raised his family in Bullitt Co., Ky.:
Esther *, m. Mr. Hatte, and lived and d. in Ohio;
Catherine* , m. Anthony Miller and settled in Ohio, where they d. They had one son named Anthony Miller and probably others.[1]*adjusted Esther and Catherine to match the Will, below.

In the name of God Amen, this my last will and testament and first of all I commit my body to the earth and my soul to God from whence it came and first of all I give and bequeathe unto my loving wife Margaret HARTMAN all and every my whole of my estate all lands household goods chattels and outstanding debts to have and to hold during her natural life without molestation and then after her decease if any of the estate it is to be equally divided amongst my children namely Abraham HARTMAN and Daniel HARTMAN, Anthony HARTMAN and David HARTMAN and Solomon HARTMAN and Esther HATTE and Joseph HARTMAN and Jonathan HARTMAN and Catherine MILLER and Agnes HOSTELLER and do hereby ordain and appoint my two sons David HARTMAN and Solomon HARTMAN sole exors of my estate after my decease.

Witness my hand this 22nd day of august, 1799.
