Amelia Mildred (Millie) Hargis was born on 26 Dec 1765, in Washington, Virginia, her father, John Draper Hargis IV and her mother, Elizabeth Freelove. She married George Albert McNew in 1781 in Washington, Virginia. She died on 1 Apr 1860 in and was buried in Mahanaim Cemetery, Meadowview, Washington County, Virginia.
