He still lived ther in 1880, in his sister Amanda J (Harralson) Richards's household, with her husband Samuel Richards, and their children. Also living there during the 1880 Census was his mother and brother, James A Harralson. Both brothers reported to be farming for a living.

In 1882 Vincent married Sallie (or Sarah) A Harralson and by 1900 had moved to Cass Township in Greene County, Missouri. She had had five children, only two of whom were still living: Willard E and Ella G Harralson. Also in the household was granddaughter Bonnie M Harralson.

In 1910, they had a different granddaughter living with them, 11 year old Kirby May B Harralson.
