When William was 21 he married Lucinda J. Vanausdall on 22 March 1849 in Warrensburg, Johnson, Missouri, USA. The couple had 7 children: Harvey Mcglouthlin Harrison, Cornelius A. Harrison, Millard Franklin Harrison, Garland B. Harrison, William R. Harrison, Mary E. Harrison and Margaret Zilpha Bell Harrison. On an unknown date William was living. Living in Kansas Territory 1860 census with wife. Age 31 b MO with sons Ben 5, Harvey 10 b MO, Garland 4 b AR & William b KS
