In 1875 Arthur Harrison (age 1) lived in Belle Prairie, Morrison county with his father W H (36), mother Minnette (36), and five siblings: Aubert (12), Gertrude (8), Lilly M (7), Dorah C (5), and Amina H (2).[1]
In 1880 Arthur M Harrison (age 6) lived in Belle Prairie with his father W H (41, Farmer), mother Orilla M (41, Keeping House), and five siblings: Arabet H (17, At Home), Gertrude (13, At School), Nellie M (12, At School), Dora C (10), and Amey H (7).[2]
In 1885 Arthur Harrison (age 11) lived in Mooresville, Crow Wing county, Minnesota with his father Wm H (46), mother Marinett (46), and three sisters: Lillie (17), Dora (12), and Amy (12).[3]
Rosa's maiden name is sometimes given as Anderson and sometimes as Hilton on their children's records - Rosa's maiden name was Hilton, but her mother remarried to a Mr Anderson when Rosa was very young, hence why Rosa sometimes used that name.
In 1895 Aurther Harison (age 21, Farming) lived in Nordland Township, Aitkin county, Minnesota with his wife Rosie (14).[5]
In 1900 Arthur Harrison (age 26, Logger in Timber) lived in Camp Creek, Mohawk Precinct, Lane county, Oregon with his wife Rosa F (19) - according to this census Arthur & Rosa had been married 6 years, and 2 children had been born in their marriage (none still living).[6]
In 1910 Arthur Harrison (age 36, Farmer General Farm) lived in Kinross, Chippewa county, Michigan with his wife Rosa (29) and four children: Maudy (9), Elmer (6), George (4), and Violet (0) - according to this census Arthur & Rosa had been married 16 years, and 6 children had been born (4 still living).[7]
Arthur Moses Harrison filled out a draft registration on 12 Sep 1918 - his home address was Kinross, Chippewa Co, Mich; he was 44 years old, born 5 Apr 1874; he was white; he was a native born US citizen; his occupation was agriculture in Kinross; his nearest relative was Mrs Rosa Florence Harrison of Kinross; he was of medium height and build, with blue eyes and brown hair.[8]
In 1920 Arthur M Harrison (age 46, Farmer General Farm) lived in Sault Sainte Maire, Chippewa county with his wife Rose F (39) and eight children: Maud M (19, Teacher Public School), Elmer R (15), George W (12), Violet M (10), Allan C (8), Clarence L (4 years 8 months), Walter R (1 year 6 months), and Arthur L (2 months).[9]
In 1930 Arthur Harrison (age 56, Laborer Automobile Factory) lived at 3126 Oakshire in Berkley, Oakland county, Michigan with his son-in-law Dewey Whitmer (21, Laborer Automobile Factory), daughter Violet M Whitmer (20), and grandson David Whitmer (5 months).[10] His wife Rose (48, Boarding House/Own Business) lived in Royal Oak, Oakland county with five of their sons: George W (23, Spot Welder at Auto Manuf), Clarence E (13), Walter R (12), Arthur L (11), and Clayton G (8).[11]
Arthur Harrison passed away on 8 Jul 1934 in Royal Oak - he was 60 years old; he was married; he was born 5 Apr 1874 in Little Falls, Minnesota; his father was Wm H Harrison and his mother was ?? Ayres.[12]
Arthur M Harrison (1874-1934) is buried at Romulus Memorial Cemetery in Romulus, Wayne county, Michigan.[13]
