Biography

'Note: Harrison-1638 had date of birth as 1690 and date of death as 18 March 1734. Obviously there is research to be done!

Elizabeth was born about 1690. She was the daughter of Andrew Harrison and Eleanor Long Elliott.

Elizabeth married John Munday before 1710, they had eleven known children vizt:

1710 To all Christian people to whom these presents shall come I Andrew Harrison Senior Send greeting in our Lord God Everlasting Now Know you that I the aforesaid Andrew Harrison Senior for diverse good causes & considerations me thereunto moveing but more Especially by reason of ye naturall affection I bear towards my Daughter Elizabeth Munday have given granted assigned ..... & confirmed and by these presents do give grant assign ....... & confirm unto my aforesaid Daughter Elizabeth Munday and her heirs forever ye quantity of Two hundred acres of Land being one moiety or half part of a Tract of four hundred acres being my proportionable part of a Patent granted to me Richard Long & Samuel Ellit being .... land lying on ye South Side of Rappahanock river being bounded by the Land of my Son Andrew Harrison on the North Side & on ye South East Side by the line of Richard Long this being the bounds of my four hundred acres & ye lower part whereof is the part which I give unto my aforesaid Daughter Elizabeth Munday To have and to hold the sd Two hundred acres of Land & all & Singularly & appurtenances thereunto belonging in as Large & ample manner as is granted unto me by Patent, to her the aforesd Elizabeth Munday & her heirs forever In witness whereof I have hereunto Sett my and Seale this 10th day of October 1710.

Elizabeth Munday remarries

1741 Elizabeth remarried James Atkins in Essex County, James died in 1745 and his goods were sold off, and in the inventory various members of John Munday's family bought items -

Charles Munday bought one case with bottles, one old great coat, one old warming pan, one old chisle, one old bread tray, one spice morter, half a persell Rice, a persell Fodder.
John Paget bought various items
James Munday one frying pan
Winnaferd Munday one pewter Tea pott, one bed & bolster, one Spotted Rugg
Richard Upshaw two old books, 10 old hides
Henry Pagett one Old Coat
William Munday one drawing Knife
Thomas Munday two Turkeys
Sillvestor Tandey
John Munday paid out of the Estate

Research Notes

In a deed from Andrew Harrison dated 1710 he refers to giving his daughter Elizabeth Munday 200 acres adjacent to his son Andrew Harrison jnr. Thomas Munday was a witness to the deed.
