Note

Note: Byron Harter had Christina married to Adam Kruger, but he had a question mark next to Adam's name so he apparently was not sure of this assignment. I could not find any documentation he used to make the assignment. Adam Kruger is, however, listed as a witness of a couple of her siblings' weddings, which supports his association with the Harter family.
Continues:
There is another Christina Harter, born 1758 in Northampton County, PA, who married a Conrad Roehrig. This was a different person, probably the daughter of Johannes Harter, son of Andraes and Anna Catherina Harter, who is known to have raised his family in Northampton County. Johannes' will, however, indicates that his daughter, Catherina, was married to John Hems as of 1798.

Christina is very unlikely to have been born in Maryland. The only certainty of them being there was not until 1768. She was probably born in Pennsylvania. Where, I don't know for certain, but I have one weak indication that the family might have been in Berks County prior to moving to Maryland.
