Biography

Holden, the son of Jonas Hartsell and Susan Stogner was born about 1816 Stanly County, North Carolina

Holden married twice: First to Mary Nancy Honeycutt about 1836/37 (exact date unknown).

In 1860 Holden Hartsell, 45 was living in Stanly, North Carolina, United States with his wife Mary, 46 and their nine children:

Mary died between 1860 and 1863. Holden remarried on 13 Oct 1863 to Adeline Coley in Stanly, North Carolina, United States.[2]
