Susanna was born in 1777 in Marylebone. She was baptised at St Mary, Marylebone on 21 March 1777 [1]
Thomas Bridges of this parish, bachelor, and Susan Hatton of the same parish, spinster, were married in this Church by licence the 26th day of September 1801 by T W Champneys, Curate. [2]
Witnesses were Thomas Bridges (presumed groom's father) and N A Long. Mr Long appears to be a Church official who stood in as a witness if only one witness was forthcoming. His signature appears on many of the wedding registrations around this time.
All parties signed.
