John Hatton, lord of half of Great Aldersey, who married Sir John Hallum's daughter and heir.[1] Joan was her father's coheir.[2] (Alternatively, Joan's father was Sir Hugh Hallum and her mother was Katherine, the daughter of Sir Hugh Modberly [Moberley].
