There are two Herman C. Hause records in the 1850 census:

  1. in Genoa, Livingston, Michigan married to Elizabeth Hause, and father of Clarrissa, Jane and Sarah
  2. in Reading, Hillsdale, Michigan married to Alvira, father of Edwin, Lucretia, Herman, Andrew and Alice. [6]
