Biography

She is buried at Friedberg Moravian God's Acre.
Jan. 31, 1835. Today was the funeral of the widow Sr. Anna Maria Boeckel (maiden name Hauser). Her sickness was catarrhal fever[1]. At the request of friends the sermon was in English. After 33 years of married life she spent the remaining years in poverty, need, and trouble about her eldest son, who followed his father's example and drank to excess so that he often had delirium tremens.[2][3]
