Biography

George Hawes, Esq., was born 22 Aug., 1793. He married Abigail Jarvis Knapp and they had a son and a daughter. He was elected as representative for Canaan, Litchfield County, Connecticut, in 1841. He passed away in 1852 at the age of 57.
