Robert was born in 1855 in Tennessee to Robert Hawkins and Mary Ann Jackson.
He married Mary Ann Stewart. Their children were George, Ada, Tina, Myrtle, Willis, Fred, Ida and Harvey.
He passed away about 1919 in Malvern, Arkansas.
