John Henry Heisser, son of Theodore Heisser and Sarah (Thomas) Heisser, was born on 4 March 1885 at Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, USA.^[1][2] He appeared on the census of 5 June 1900 in the household of his father and step-mother, Alice (Jones) Heisser, at Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.^[3]
