John Henry Heisser, son of Theodore Heisser and Sarah (Thomas) Heisser, was born on 4 March 1885 at Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, USA.[1][2] He appeared on the census of 5 June 1900 in the household of his father and step-mother, Alice (Jones) Heisser, at Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[3]

He married Delphine Penn in 1909 at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[4]

He and Delphine appeared on the census of 30 April 1910 in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[5] He was a ship carpenter in 1918 at Jahncke Shipyard, Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[1] He and Delphine appeared on the census of 16 Jan. 1920 at Turnpike Rd., St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[6] He was a carpenter in a shipyard when he and Delphine appeared on the census of 21 April 1930 at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[7] He was a carpenter building houses when he and Delphine appeared on the census of 10 April 1940 at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[8] He was employed in 1942 at J. W. Fleetwood, Covington, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[2]

He lived in 1971 at Saint Louis, Saint Louis City, Missouri. John died on 13 Jan. 1972[9] at St. Louis, Missouri, at age 86, and was buried at Helping Hands Cemetery, Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[10]
