Biography

Andrew H. Heisser was born on 6 Feb. 1870 at Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.^[1] He appeared on the census of 26 July 1870 in the household of his parents, Henry C. Heisser and Mary (Tyler) Heisser, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.^[2] He appeared on the census of 5 June 1880 in the household of his parents at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana. ^[3]

He married Mary Celeste Alexis, daughter of Joseph Alexis and Estelle (--?--) Alexis, on 27 March 1891 at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.^[4]

He was a blacksmith when he and Mary Celeste appeared on the census of 1 June 1900 at Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.^[5] He was a blacksmith with his own shop when he and Mary Celeste appeared on the census of 16 April 1910 at Main St., Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.^[6]

He married May Flot on 22 Sep. 1917 at New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana.
