Biography
When Elizabeth H Hendricks was born on October 20, 1838, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, her father, William, was 41, and her mother, Susannah, was 40. She married James Rattling Gourd in 1854. They had five children in 12 years. She died on June 11, 1914, in her hometown, having lived a long life of 75 years, and was buried there.
