Johnson was age 10, born KY and living with her mother Columbia Johnson, age 40, (divorced, mother of 1 child) and residing in the home of Columbia's parents Calvin and Emeline Johnson in Greenup County, Kentucky. Mary was described as "grand-daughter" of the head of household Calvin Johnson.[1]
