I lived with my grandmother Linnie from the age of 11 until I went off to college. She grew up on the small Hepburn farm on Wegee Creek and was the one who instilled in me the love of family history.
On 2 Aug 1848 her grandmother Lucy Hepburn gave birth to twin boys. One survived and was named Theodore while the other died the same day and was never named.
This unnamed twin, the son of Israel Hepburn and Ruth Spears, who lived for so short a time is memorialized here with his brothers and sisters.[1]
