Margaret Hepburne is the daughter of Patrick Hepburne, 1st Lord of Hailes. She married three times.[1]

Margaret Hepburn and Patrick, 2nd Lord Haliburton of Dirleton, had a Papal Dispensation, dated 6th July 1458, to marry after their actual marriage.[2] They had no issue.

Andrew Ker of Cessford was Margaret's second husband.[3]

Alexander Forrester, son and heir-apparent of Archibald Forrester of Corstorphine, had the barony of Corstorphine, etc., conveyed to him, resigned by his father, but reserving a life-rent of the said castle and lands of Archibald and his wife [this] Margaret Hepburn.[4]

Marriage

m.1 Patrick, 3rd Lord of Haliburton, son of John Halyburton and Janet Seaton.[3][5][1]

m.2 Andrew Ker of Cessford.

m.3 (ante 01 Feb 1479/80) Archibald Forrester of Corstophine. Issue:[4]

Hepburn-40 and Hepburn-462 are not ready to be merged because: Not enough data to match. Needs more research.

Hepburn-462 and Hepburn-40 appear to represent the same person because: Margaret Hepburn was married before March 1451 to Patrick de Haliburton; secondly to Andrew Kerr and thirdly to Archibald Forrester, As well as other children, she had a child by her third husband, which means her birthdate should be about 1430, not 1450
