Stephen Allberry
It is clear from Thomas Albery's will of 1605 that his son, Henry, had a son Thomas, Thomas senior's grandchild, by that date. No other grandchildren are mentioned in the will. Elizabeth Herbert would be far too young to be this Thomas' mother though she could have been a second wife. According to Henry's will of 1629 his three other sons were under 21 at the time so they could all be the children of a second wife. I have never seen any evidence of a marriage for Henry so if anyone knows the source of the Herbert/ Albery marriage or a previous one I should like to see it. Up till now I had only seen Snell's brief Calendar of Henry's will in the library of the Society of genealogists in London but I have just acquired a copy of the original from the National Archives and shall transcribe it to see if it throws any more light on this family
