Biography

She shared the same birthday as her oldest sister Kathryn. Kathryn born in 1914. Betty was a little girl when her father died. He has blood poison from a infected tooth but still worked the fields that day day coming home very ill. To pass soon. She worked at Westinghouse in Mansfield for awhile I believe in the fifties which was un heard of in those days. Myself Joanna and my cousins would spend the summers with grandma. She only had us kids after losing grandpa in 1977. I have many great memories of my summers at grandmas. She loved everyone of her grandchildren and great grand children. Still miss her today. Miss picking raspberrys and hearing her funny stories. She made the best cream of wheat.^[1]
