Biography

Elizabeth Talkington was appointed by court order 7/9/1799 as Administrator of Robert's estate. Their children were born in 1763,1765,1767,1769,1771,1773,1775,1777,1779,1781 and 1783. Stephen Talkington in 1783. The court recorded inventory of Robert's estate show Elizabeth Talking is allowed 150 acres, John Talkington is allowed 180 acres (probably born in 1776). John married Lotie Sapp from Washington Co., Ky in 1795. Nov 14, 1790 Samuel Talkington registered his earmark/brand. Joseph and Isaac must be sons of Samuel Talkington and grandsons of Elizabeth. Elizabeth died Nov 16, 1813 and Joseph was appointed Administrator of her estate with Samuel Talkington his security in the sum of $600. Sale of the estate on Dec 11, 1813 is recorded. Feb 9, 1816 Joseph Talkington married Polly Porter. Stephen s talkington purchased the Sapp land at a sale. Stephen born 1783 . Nov 17, 1820 Samuel purchased 98 acres of Joseph Gordon. In 1820 land was patented to Isaac Talking & Joseph and Sally Talkington. Aug 10, 1831 they sell 150 acres to George Clayton of Logan Co., Ky which was the land patented to Elizabeth Talkington where she lived. This must be the land willed to Joseph & Isaac by Elizabeth. Isaac Talking born 1795 D 1857 m April 1824 to Elizabeth Morrow who was b. 1806 d 1851. Nov 16, 1846 Isaac bought land of Coley Morris widow of Thomas Morrow. Sa\muel, John and Stephen talking were brothers. Joseph & Isaac are brothers and sons of Samuel.
