Biography

Eleazar Higgins was the only son. He had two sisters, Jenette b. c.. 1764 and Joanna b act 1768 and died June 231842. Eleazar was born May 30, 1766 in Truro, Massachusetts to Nathan Higgins and Jerusha Mayo. He died Feb 18, 1840 at Eden, Hancock Co. Maine

Eleazar married Sarah Hadley, daughter of Simeon Hadley 1742-1825 and Olive Black 1748-1819. They wee married Aug 10 1793 at Mount Desert, Massachusetts.
