Biography

Elizabeth Jane Higgins was born in Bradford Abbas, Dorset and baptised there on 19 July 1857, the daughter of George and Jane Higgins ^[1]

She married Samuel Chainey in Bradford Abbas on 3rd June 1884. His age was shown as 25, and his father confirmed as John. Jane was 26 years old and her father was George Higgins. ^[2]

The family are living in Well Street, Bradford Abbas in 1891, where Samuel, age 31 is a railway labourer. His wife Jane is 33, and they have children Elsie age 5, Reginald age 3 and 1 year old Gladys, all are shown as being born in Bradford Abbas. ^[3]
