Margaret was born in 1889. She was the daughter of Hiram Higgins and Alwilda Smith. She passed away in 1987.
Services for Mrs. Arminda Orman, 89, of Rt., 3, Jackson, were Tuesday, July 4, 1978, at 3:00 p.m. from New Zion Baptist Church. Interment was in the New Zion Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Anderson, Rev. Tom Jackson, and Rev. Danny Ray officiating.
Mrs. Orman, a homemaker, died on July 2, 1978, in Rankin General Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Survivors include one son, Odell Orman, Braxton; five daughters, Mrs. Ed Collins, Florence, Mrs. Dock Mullins, Brandon, Mrs. Edward Haack, Gulfport, Mrs. Thomas H. Baldwin, Jackson, and Mrs. Miller Tillman, Clinton; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Conn, Mendenhall, Mrs. Minerva King, Gulfport, 25 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.
Upton Funeral Home Chapel was in charge of all arrangements.
